TMTF PLAY-A-THON

The Annual TMTF Play-A-Thon is another great opportunity for students to perform in the community, and it's the major fundraiser that supports the Tidewater Music Teachers Forum’s Scholarships. Scholarships are provided to students in need of financial aid for their music studies or for those pursuing a music degree in college. 

Students of all ages are invited - instrumentalist to vocalist, beginner to advanced - to share their love of music by performing classical, seasonal, hymn, popular, and/or ensemble music. To be eligible for participation, students will be asked to secure pledges from family, friends and neighbors, collect the funds, perform at the mall, and finally return the proceeds to their teacher following the Play-A-Thon. There will be a cash prize awarded to the top three students who collect the most pledges.
